Lime Court resident Mick Hunn used to play the tuba in a Brass Band. Micks wish on the FaNs Wishing Washing Line was to ‘listen to a brass band play again’. The FaNs Wishing Washing Line is displayed in our local Morrison’s Supermarket. The idea is to encourage shoppers and staff members alike to read the wishes and if they find an interest or can grant a very simple wish, they contact the home and arrange for the wish to be granted. A member of Tendring Brass Band noticed Micks request and on 21st August they visited the home to play. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance which included songs ‘Jerusalem’, ‘Delilah’ and ‘Rule Britannia’.
