Care homes from across Essex join together to commemorate the Queen's platinum jubilee.
WOW! What a day!!
On Thursday June 2nd, we held our FaNs Network Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party, and it was a roaring success! Residents from care homes across Essex were invited along with their friends and family to join in the celebrations, and everyone had an absolute blast. The day was just so full of love, laughter, entertainment and lots of food! Entertainment was provided by Mr Motivator, Nancy May, Strollercise, Sistars and DJ Buzby, who kept everyone entertained for the day!
The residents loved it too! Margaret & Ann, both residents at Alderwood Care Home said, "Wow, wow, wow! Thank you so much to FaNs! An incredible afternoon, so well organised".
Also, Sam, manager at Woodlands residential care home for ladies said, "It was such a fun and emotional day and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...it meant so much to our lovely ladies and they're still talking about it! Simply amazing and all your efforts that went into organising the day didn't go unnoticed. Thank you"
